Surgery Update - August 10, 2008
To all of my fans and true Barrin Simpson supporters, just wanted to update you guys on how my surgery went. The repair on my pectorialis major was great and the road to recovery has begun. I was truly blessed of the Lord to have really no pain at all, minimal swelling, and I haven't lost much range of motion. I just want to thank everyone for prayers and concern sending your messages. Stay tuned for further updates and for any questions you may have, go to my ask Barrin section.

Game Day - June 19, 2008
Well fans the last dressed rehersal before we kick the 2008 regular season into gear on the quest to a Bluebomber Championship. I'm hyped, with this being the first time in 2008 that I get to put on my 51 jersey in a game situation to knock any rust before the season starts. The great thing about it fans is that, you have your first dressed rehersal also with crowd noises, your 51 jersey, or what ever bluebomber gear you have to make our stadium an intimidating bluebomber war zone. Bluebomber football is back at home for the first time in 2008, so lets show Montreal how its done in Bomberland. I'll see you at the game!!!Peace be with you and your house, and may you prosper and be in good health even as your soul prosper!

The Grey Cup - November 20th, 2007
Well fans the excitement of the Grey Cup is here and your Bombers have played their way in to the ever desired Grey Cup Championship game. Though heavy underdogs because of the lost of our MVP Kevin Glenn, we are still a championship caliber team. My heart goes out to Kevin because he work so hard to help get us here and unfortunately he broke his arm, so I tip my hat to a great QB and a great Guy. Now is the time for us to step up and win one for him and the crafty old vet Milt Stegall. The win will not come easy, but the we will not be denied attitude has definitely caught on in our locker room like wild fire over the last couple of weeks and there's no sense in putting that attitude to rest now. We must have great focus during practice this week to accomplish this ultimate goal that we set for ourselves way back in training camp. The steaks are high in this great rivalry between the Roughriders and the Bluebombers, only the reward is not just winning the Labor Day Classic or the Banjo Bowl, it's to be Grey Cup Champions and to have 365 days of bragging rights for the fans. That is enough in itself bomber fans to go out and get your #4 Jersey and support Ryan Dinwiddie in his first CFL start. Go Bombers!!!

The Playoffs - November 11th, 2007
The playoffs is the time of the year when the weather is cold, the fans go crazy with anticipation of who will be the grey cup champs, and the player hunt for the chance to fulfill a life long dream to be a champion. In the playoffs the intensity level of each team goes up 100% and the level play and execution of each teams goes far beyond the regular season. I learned after 7 straight years of being in the playoffs that you can't waste not 1 second on the clock, nor any opportunities within the game or it can come back and bite you in the backside. Tonight we played a determined Montreal team that didn't want to give up on the fight for a chance to be champions, but we the Bombers (that includes you to fans) did what we needed to do offensively, defensively, special teams and crowd noise to win. Go Bombers Go and just win baby win!!!
